IPRS Health is one of the UK’s leading providers of rehabilitation services. We employ a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including CBT therapists, counsellors, and psychological well-being practitioners. We are looking for a Qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) to join our team, deliver assessment and treatment to patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, and support a small group of therapists.

Qualifications / Certifications

  • Professional qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Full BABCP accreditation (please add to your CV)

Experience

  • Minimum of three years post-CBT qualification mental-health experience in both face-to-face and virtual treatment settings within public or private healthcare

Knowledge

  • Computer literacy with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

Skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve the best outcomes for patients
  • Effective problem-solving and prioritisation abilities
  • Strong communication skills and effective time-management to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment

Responsibilities

  • Assess and deliver, under supervision, outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions to patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties
  • Provide treatment to patients experiencing mild/moderate mental health difficulties via telephone, video, or typed media
  • Deliver a range of evidence-based support for patients, including telephone, media, or typed interventions

Position Details

  • Permanent position
  • Full or part-time hours available, Monday to Friday (full time 40 hours per week, part-time minimum 24 hours per week)
