We are looking for a Qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) to join our existing team. The successful applicant will hold a clinical caseload providing assessment and treatment to patients experiencing common mental health problems, as well as supporting a small team of therapists to deliver the service.

Qualifications:

  • Have a professional qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
  • Have full BABCP accreditation.

Experience:

  • Have a minimum of three years post-CBT qualification mental health experience in both face-to-face and virtual treatment in public or private healthcare.

Knowledge:

  • You will be computer literate with good Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Skills:

  • Importantly, you will be able to work with your team to achieve the best outcomes for your patients.
  • Be able to effectively problem solve and prioritise.
  • Communicate effectively and be able to manage time to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and deliver, under supervision, outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions to patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Deliver treatment to patients experiencing mild/moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Provide a range of support for evidence-based treatments, including telephone, media, or typed communication.

Other information:

  • Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time).
  • Position: Permanent position.
  • Hours: Full or part-time hours available, Monday to Friday (full-time 40 hours per week, part-time minimum 24 hours per week).
