The Opportunity
Iprova is seeking a Product Delivery Lead to coordinate and drive delivery across our software engineering teams building an AI-powered invention platform.
This role sits between Product and Engineering, ensuring that priorities are clear, execution is well-planned, and delivery remains predictable and high quality.
Unlike a traditional project manager role, this position requires a strong software engineering background.
You will be expected to understand system design, contribute technically when needed, and engage deeply with engineers on implementation details.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery & Coordination
- Own end-to-end delivery planning across engineering workstreams.
- Translate product requirements into structured engineering execution plans.
- Manage priorities, timelines, dependencies, and risks across teams.
- Lead sprint planning, reviews, and cross-team delivery meetings, while ensuring priorities are clear, blockers are addressed, and execution stays aligned.
- Ensure alignment between Product, Engineering, and stakeholders.
- Technical Engagement
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning.
- Work closely with engineers to understand implementation complexity.
- Review technical approaches and help de-risk delivery decisions.
- Contribute code or technical fixes where useful (not primary responsibility, but expected capability).
- Stakeholder Management
- Provide clear and consistent delivery updates to leadership.
- Surface risks early and propose pragmatic mitigation strategies.
- Ensure smooth communication between technical and non-technical teams.
- Improve delivery visibility and predictability across the organisation
Skills and Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience (backend, frontend, or full-stack).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile practices.
- Experience working closely with product teams in a delivery-focused environment.
- Ability to understand system architecture and technical trade-offs.
- Experience with Python and Django
- Experience with frontend frameworks (Vue. js, React, or similar).
