The Role Reports to: VP, Biometric Operations Location: WeWork Waterloo, London - Hybrid (At least once per week) Comp: £90,000 to £100,000 (Base) + Company Performance Bonus (10%) + Share Options + UK iProov Benefits The Biometric Systems Lead owns how iProov's biometric platform evolves, from research and prototyping through to production. Reporting to the VP, Biometric Operations, you'll lead the Biometric Systems function; scoping and delivering new systems, improving existing ones, and making sure they hold up against the measures that matter (precision, recall, bias, speed, cost and robustness). Bias detection sits with you, alongside the feedback-code work that shapes how real people interact with the technology, and the customer-specific features that arrive as awkward problems and need turning into workable solutions. It's a varied, cross-functional role, spanning Biometric Operations, Product, Research and CSI, with a longer-term roadmap to build and a team to mentor. We're hiring first for collaboration, communication and mentoring, technical enough to earn the team's trust, and dependable enough that you can be handed a problem and trusted to come back with a solution.
