The Role
Reports to: Senior Mobile Engineer (Innovation Function)
Location: WeWork HQ, Waterloo - Hybrid
Compensation: £50k-£60k (Base) + Growth Shares + Company Performance Bonus (10%) + UK Benefits
iProov has continued to scale rapidly this year and is currently looking for a Mobile Engineer to join the growing Innovation function in our talented Innovation team based in London. You will be responsible for working on greenfield ideas within the biometric authentication and verification space.
How you can make an impact
- Design, develop and help maintain new and existing mobile apps in Flutter and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
- Work with a small team to produce innovative, creative and challenging apps
- Evaluate new tech and select those best suited to the problems at hand
- Proactively troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions to solve them
- Contribute to the broader research and technology strategy of the company
What we would like to see from you
- Knowledge of Android or Flutter app development and the Kotlin/Dart programming languages
- Familiarity with mobile app architectures and design patterns
- An understanding of mobile security principles
- Interest in solving complex technical problems
- A passion for writing clean, readable and maintainable code
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence to state a clearly reasoned and articulated viewpoint
- You should be happy to take initiative in your tasks and be relatively self-organising
- You’re eager to ship releases and new features
- You’re able and willing to debate to put forward improvements to processes

- BSc or equivalent in Computer Science or numerical discipline
- Knowledge of iOS (Swift) app development
- Familiarity with cryptography
