The Role

Reports to: Biometric Operations Lead
Location: London, UK (Hybrid - at least once a week)
Comp: £40k-£45k (Base) + Company Performance Bonus (10%) + Equity + Wider iProov Benefits

iProov has continued to scale rapidly this year and is currently hiring a Biometric Operations Analyst to join our Science function.

How you can make an impact

  • Optimise the biometric platform:
    • Identify configuration improvement opportunities
    • Understand the potential impact of configuration and model changes on the wider biometric platform
    • Identify under-performing models and work with product to prioritise the work with the most potential impact
  • Facilitate the deployment of new biometric systems/models:
    • Work with the model engineer to ensure thorough evaluation of the system
    • Understand the potential impact of deployment
    • Optimise the configuration
    • Track performance as it progresses into production
  • Design and use analysis and diagnostic tooling:
    • Collaborate with the Data Team
    • Communicate trends to the wider business
    • Tune and utilise alerting systems and performance tracking dashboards
    • Contribute to internal analysis tooling
    • Identify, understand, and eliminate bias within the platform, collaborating where needed
  • Work with the support team to investigate customer concerns:
    • Have a good understanding of the Biometric platform
    • Manage and keep track of tickets and resulting actions
    • Investigate performance concerns
    • Answer customer questions
  • Work with Product and Engineers to reduce risk of Front-end changes:
    • Provide Guidance on the potential effects of front end changes
    • Perform analysis on data samples
    • Optimise configuration
