As the newly appointed Head of CDD, you'll take ownership of the Customer Due Diligence function, leading strategy, governance, and operational oversight while working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the bank continues to meet evolving regulatory expectations.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the end-to-end CDD function across Corporate and Private Banking.
- Developing and enhancing CDD policies, procedures, and governance.
- Acting as the senior SME for CDD, KYC, and AML requirements.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and strong controls.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the CDD team.
What we're looking for:
- Proven leadership experience within CDD, KYC, or Financial Crime.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate and Private Banking customer due diligence.
- Excellent understanding of UK AML regulations and the wider regulatory landscape.
