The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This range is provided by IPOE Consulting. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Support reporting manager in the CDD onboarding process (and in the absence of reporting manager drive the process independently, including sign off on regulatory elements)
- Prepare and review heads of terms for prospective customers
- (In the absence of reporting manager) Negotiate head of terms for prospective customers with support from senior management
- Instruct, monitor, and liaise with professionals in respect of the preparation of due diligence reports and legal documentation for different transactions and projects, including the negotiation of relevant clauses in facility agreements and commercial aspects
- Provide feedback and present to all relevant parties who are involved in the credit process including; legal department, external solicitors (if required) and agency roles (if applicable)
- Negotiate on relevant aspects of the documentation process
- Review and analyse project monitor reports
- Review and liaise with professionals and our customers to ensure legal documentation reflects credit approved terms and policies
- Ensure consistent application of Group Policy and adhere to regulatory, financial, and legal standards to minimise business and reputational risks
- Collaborate with Group and Legal colleagues to deliver appropriate needs-based solutions for customers
- Attending client meetings, analyst meetings and banker presentations in support of the relationship manager
- Support customers and place their needs at the forefront of all that we do, setting world class standards and ensuring fair customer treatment and delivery of customer satisfaction
To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills:
- Academic background in a relevant field complemented with relevant qualification (RICS qualification as an example or LLB)
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in: Legal Background; and/or Real Estate Finance
- The job holder will have had previous exposure in dealing with senior management and be familiar with requirements in terms of reporting and communication
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
- An able team player
- Ability to work on own initiative and ability to prioritise work
- Accurate organised individual, flexible and happy to undertake any task in support of the team members and thus the client
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Should have a positive “can do” attitude combined with a flexible approach to the tasks required
