Salary £80-100k

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their client-facing Service Delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing functional and technical analysis, driving business process improvements, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive technological and business advancements.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Track data out of ION XTP in response to client enquiries and internal requirements.
• Perform functional and technical analysis for integration projects and issue resolution.
• Provide business analysis for applications, reporting systems, and process-related projects.
• Proactively identify process improvements and gather specifications.
• Assist in building controls and defining business processes to ensure data quality.
• Innovate and implement new solutions to keep the business ahead of the competition.
• Research new concepts, evaluate third-party products/tools, and contribute to the department’s technical direction.
• Prioritize and drive business requirements while providing regular status updates.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework and comply with all regulatory or company-determined parameters.
• Ensure delivered infrastructure and systems meet production quality standards and are adequately documented for handover to business and support functions.

To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of business process analysis, data management, and reporting systems.
• Understanding of the clearing business and its operational requirements.
• Sufficient working knowledge in C++, SQL, and Python.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools, project management software, and data visualization tools.
• Client-facing knowledge and experience in handling client queries effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge in ION XTP would be a strong plus but not essential.
