We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Officer to support the day-to-day management of banking operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of operational services, including account opening, payments processing, customer onboarding, static data maintenance, and general banking transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a banking professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including payments, cash transactions, and general banking operations.
  • Manage customer onboarding activities, including account opening, debit card issuance, online banking setup, and mandate maintenance.
  • Maintain and update customer static data and account information across core banking systems.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, AML standards, and risk management frameworks.
  • Set up and maintain approved facilities, customer limits, trading limits, and settlement parameters within core banking systems.
  • Process fixed-term loans, term deposits, renewals, rollovers.
