Account Manager – Wealth Management
An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking Account Manager to join the UK Financial Intermediary (FI) business unit within a growing international financial services firm.
The role will require the candidate to possess a positive attitude and good communication skills to help support their Relationship Managers servicing their UK FI clients. These FIs are a mix of Financial Advisers, Discretionary Fund Managers, Investment Managers and Family Offices.
Main responsibilities will include;
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Prepare reports on accounts status
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities with territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Such other activities that are commensurate with the employee’s status as the employee’s line manager or the Board of the Company may reasonably require
To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills;
- At least 2 years’ experience working in similar Account Management, Client Services role within financial services
- Prior knowledge of (or experience working in) Platforms is preferred
- Relevant Industry qualifications (IMC or CISI) are also preferred
- Hard working
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Capability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in the Office365 suite
