International Bank based in the City of London, are looking to recruit an Operations Manager who will oversee managing the payments department and Treasury back office. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring up to date procedures are in place which align with the banks policies and will manage the team to ensure correct processing and execution of the services performed by the team are maintained. This position will also work closely with the COO on some of the key projects which will require implementation within agreed timescales as agreed with the COO. Main responsibilities will include; Oversee, determine, plan and supervise the work of the team and any contract or temporary staff appointed to work within the department to ensure correct processes are met. To Prepare annual appraisals, set objectives, and plan for new developments. To appraise and recommend appropriate training for staff members annually. To co-ordinate project work and delegate as required. To keep in view all individual workflows and duties, ensuring cover for the team as required, with notifications to HR when additional resources are necessary.
