We are seeking a Business Development Manager for a busy Construction Company that undertakes all types of building works based in Nottingham. The business is currently seeking a highly energised, motivated Business Development Manager to join their team to support their ambitious growth plans. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company.

The Business Development Manager will be focused on both developing new business and managing and developing existing customer accounts to ensure maximum potential is reached.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Oversee all sales and marketing to help develop and maintain a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for the business.
  • Support the development of marketing of WDL and to help grow its awareness.
  • Identifying market opportunities through direct marketing and other media.
  • Follow up of all logged opportunities to secure meetings and project briefs for the Project Management team.
  • Produce monthly reports for the Business Owners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers and act as the liaison between customers & internal teams ensuring clients' requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A sales background from within the construction sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven experience building lasting relationships.
  • Good IT literacy.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • IT Literacy, Microsoft Office applications.
  • Contracts programme & progress report preparation.
  • Delivery of outstanding service & ambition to progress within a thriving business.

This is an exceptionally varied role, and we are therefore looking for an individual who can work across a broad level of client requirements. There is flexibility between full and part time depending on the right candidate and the salary is to be negotiated depending on experience.
