We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Warehouse Team at our packing facility in Sittingbourne. Position Details
- Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 7am - 7pm
- Location: IPL Sittingbourne - Site Based Role
- Contract Type: Permanent
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods by completing various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and efficiently as possible, upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times.
- Undertaking receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in process, ensuring all label and temperature disciplines are completed appropriately and product is correctly located within the warehouse.
- Ensuring that all relevant paperwork, relating to Goods In/Goods Out/Picking is completed in full at all times.
- Ensuring all waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, segregating waste as necessary.
- Undertaking MHE truck duties as required ensuring it is driven correctly at all times, conducting daily safety checks thoroughly and observing company warehouse guidelines.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a warehouse/manufacturing/pack house/produce background.
- A Forklift Truck Licence and a good understanding of warehousing/store processes and procedures, along with the possession of manual handling training.
- The ability to work under pressure, good attention to detail and good communication skills.
