The role

The Customer Service Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Customer Service Department, ensuring customer orders and enquiries are processed accurately and efficiently.

The role focuses on day‑to‑day order processing, administration, and customer communication, supporting the wider team to deliver a consistent and reliable service.

  • As a Customer Services Administrator At IPL You Will
  • Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner in line with internal procedures.
  • Update and maintain customer delivery schedules.
  • Create and manage customer shipments.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and direct queries appropriately.
  • Respond to routine customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Send customer samples as requested and maintain records.
  • Log customer complaints accurately and elevate in line with procedures.
  • Raise credit requests and support internal approval processes.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records on internal systems.
  • Carry out general day‑to‑day administrative duties to support the Customer Service team.
  • What You Will Bring To The Role
  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within a sales or customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is essential.
  • Experience with SAP software or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with a good understanding of IT systems relevant to administrative functions.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Previous experience in sales administration or customer service roles will be advantageous.
