Logtek Ltd was formed in 1996 and provides logistics and operational services for the control and management of returnable transit packaging (RTP) – principally plastic trays and bulk containers as used in the grocery and retail supply chain.
The role
To provide full comprehensive support to the M&S Equipment Manager ensuring that Asset Management is accurately and proactively managed and implemented to deliver tangible benefits to M&S, M&S Suppliers and Logtek.
The role will be based from Logtek's Head Office in Quinton, Birmingham.
The hours of work will be from 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Hybrid working will apply - Monday and Friday from home.
- Production and proactive management of relevant KPI reports – deliver in a timely manner
- Key contact for Lintracker issues
- Supplier and depot support dealing with queries and balance amendments
- Answer incoming calls on the helpdesk and log
- Action incoming emails within agreed SLAs
- Raise Purchase Orders
- Book Transport as required – keeping within set budget and logging all bookings
- Negotiate with transport providers to obtain best price
- Allocation and production of weekly Supplier orders
- Q Box – supplier orders and availability (for holiday cover)
- Check and authorise Haulier Invoices for payments
- Production of data for analysis as requested
- Booking in damaged equipment deliveries
- Produce no equipment report daily to issue to M&S
- Produce Irish Collection report weekly to issue to M&S
- Other adhoc work as and when required and requested by M&S Equipment Manager/ M&S Contract Manager
- Personal Attributes & Experience
- Confident and smart with a professional style and approach
- A conscientious and highly motivated self-starter with ‘can do’ attitude and ability to prioritise
- Previous experience working in stock control and customer service
- Proactive team player – ability to work alone and as part of a small team
- Experience working in the Retail, Logistics or Manufacturing industry would be advantageous
- Asset Management experience
