Join Our Dynamic Production Team at IPL Sittingbourne! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative - Nights to become a vital part of our Production Team at our Produce facility in Sittingbourne. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities
- Schedule: 4 on 4 off (Nights) - 7pm - 7am.
- Location: IPL Sittingbourne - Site Based.
- Contract Type: Permanent.
- Assist in managing the product (Fresh Produce) flow through the line, quality sort and dress out defects, ensuring product specifications are met.
- Ensure products are correctly packed and labelled to target in line with company and customer expectations.
- Report any defects or poor quality to the Line Leader.
- Correctly pack finished goods safely to specification standards and in the correct orientation within each tray, and safely stack trays to a required height.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a manufacturing/pack house/produce background is desirable.
- Good practical skills and the ability to work quickly and methodically within a team; ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks and follow instructions.
- ‘Can do’ attitude and proactive approach; understanding of health and safety policies in the workplace; entry level in both written and spoken English.
