About the Role

Join our dynamic production team as a Warehouse Operative at IPL Whittlesey. This 4 on 4 off night shift (7pm‑6am) role places you at the heart of our House Plants & Flowers facility, where you will be a vital part of our Operations Team.

Location & Schedule

Location: IPL Whittlesey – Site Based Role
Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 7pm – 6am (Nights)
Contract: Fixed Term ending 14th March 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure stock is picked correctly in line with stock rotation and production plan.
  • Maintain full service to the factory to deliver the right product at the right time.
  • Account for correct stock rotation, taking stock age and production requirements into account.
  • Complete all checks and documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Scan all pallet movements onto the system through the audit process.
  • Scan pick products, ensuring adherence to the production plan and company specifications.
  • Communicate any quality, technical or health and safety issues.
  • Act as deputy to the Line Leader in their absence.
  • Comply with statutory health and safety obligations and IPL health and safety policy.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, factory, production, stock control or similar is desirable.
  • Valid FLT/PPT Licence (desirable).
  • Microsoft Office literacy.
  • Entry‑level written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work quickly and methodically, demonstrating good practical skills.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Focus and concentration while performing repetitive tasks and following instructions.
  • Can‑do attitude and proactive approach.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Manual handling training (desirable).
  • Health and safety certification (desirable).
