About the Role
You will join our dynamic onsite warehouse team at IPL Whittlesey, a House Plants & Flowers site located in Whittlesey. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Schedule & Location
Schedule: Wednesday ā Saturday, 7 pm ā 6 am (night shift)
Location: IPL Whittlesey ā Site based role
Contract type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient Picking, Packing, and Dispatching: handling goods with precision and speed, prioritizing safety and accuracy.
- Receiving and Checking Stock: managing receipt and inspection of incoming stock, ensuring correct labels and temperatures, and proper storage.
- Paperwork Management: completing all necessary paperwork for Goods In, Goods Out, and Picking, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Waste Management: safely disposing of waste according to company processes, segregating as needed.
- MHE Truck Duties: operating MHE trucks, conducting daily safety checks, and following all warehouse guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fastāpaced environment, specifically within a warehouse/manufacturing/pack house/produce background.
- Forklift licence and understanding of warehousing/store processes and procedures, plus possession of manual handling training.
- Ability to work under pressure with good attention to detail and good communication skills.
