About The Role
Join Our Dynamic Production Team at IPL Sittingbourne!
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Packaging Operative to be part of our Production team at our Produce facility in Sittingbourne. If you are passionate about production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is for you!
Position Details:
- Schedule: 4 on 4 off (Days) – 7am – 7pm
- Location: IPL Sittingbourne – Site Based Role
- Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake label printing via WLP2
- Manage stock count, reconcile differences, and count stock on the lines
- Investigate packaging waste and losses
- Handle WLP2 label confirmations and designs
- Update packaging KPIs
- Check closed jobs to ensure correct packaging allocation
What are we looking for?
- Experience working with KPIs
- Experience in the Fresh Produce or Food Industry (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and flexible
- Attention to detail, numerically and logically
- Auditing skills
- MHE License
- Knowledge of BRC or Food Safety (desirable)
- Knowledge of PR2 or similar system (desirable)
- Intermediate Excel and Microsoft skills (desirable)
