We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Manager – Finance Operations to become a vital part of our onsite Finance Team at Forza & Kober. This role is perfect for those passionate and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Forza (Normanton) & Kober (Cleckheaton), site based
Contract Type: Fixed‑Term Contract ending May 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Management Accounting team provides timely, accurate management information to control daily/weekly/monthly operational costs and variances.
- Manage and control inventory valuations and associated risks.
- Inform and review standard costing and master data processes for site, supporting and challenging shared group resources.
- Business partner with the Operations departments on all technical accounting issues, provide guidance, review and interpret inputs, and challenge back where necessary.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis and business partnering services where required.
- Present full weekly and monthly P&L reviews to stakeholders.
- Coordinate forecasting of site P&L and inventory performance.
- Business partner central functional heads (Finance, IT, People, Legal) to communicate between departments.
- Review and validate all period‑end journals and oversee the preparation and reconciliation of the period P&L, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage corporate reporting processes for group‑level submissions.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of period balance‑sheet reviews with Group Controllership.
- Support and challenge local site and Group Shared Services AP & AR processes on D365 to ensure accurate and timely supplier payments and sales revenue collection.
- Act as the ultimate responsible party for all internal and external audit relationships.
- Lead internal D365 Dynamics development and support external testing and improvement plans.
- Review and challenge existing processes and identify opportunities to improve and simplify.
- Manage and coordinate the annual budgeting process.
- Manage training and development of finance team members.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified accountant preferred (ACA, ACCA or CIMA); candidates qualified by experience also considered.
- Ability to build strong business‑partnering relationships across the business.
- Experience in management reporting and planning.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ideally experience with Microsoft D365 system implementation or any other end‑to‑end system.
