Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at Kober! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our bacon slicing and packing facility in Cleckheaton. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating morning (6:30am - 2:30pm) and afternoon (2:30pm - 10:30pm) shifts
  • Location: Kober, Cleckheaton – Site Based Role
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Environment: High‑care, chilled meat processing facility specialising in production and packing of bacon

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Review individual line team’s performance and feed it back to the supervisor/shift manager.
  • Ensure that the correct colleagues are on the line and on time.
  • Motivate the line team to ensure teamwork is used so that targets are met.
  • Develop and train all members of the team.
  • Ensure that all colleagues are treated with dignity in line with company policies, and support team members when needed.
  • Check tare weights, recognise rejection faults and recognise mean weight issue.
  • Use a label applicator following the label procedure, change the date and change the printing ribbon.
