About The Role
We are excited to offer an Analyst – Finance Central position at our Fresh Produce packing facility in Normanton. If you have a passion for finance and want to be part of a vibrant team, this role is for you!
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Location: IPL Normanton – Hybrid working (2 days remote)
- Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Support ad-hoc controllership projects
- Ensure compliance with financial control frameworks, identify risks, and resolve issues
- Prepare journals for month-end prepayments, accruals, provisions, and payroll liabilities
- Manage cost recharges for Asda, ensuring accuracy and investigating discrepancies
- Collaborate with payroll, commercial finance, and Asda finance teams
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- Contribute to cash forecasting and provide variance analysis
- Assist in treasury operations, including payments and cash management
Candidate Profile
- Attention to detail and a curious mindset

- Team player with integrity and a proactive attitude
Ideal candidates will have a background in finance, with some experience in accounting principles. AAT/CIMA part-qualified or relevant degree is preferred.
