For our UK site in Coventry, we are looking for an experienced leader to drive sales growth and service excellence.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and operational sales plans
- Prepare and present sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to management
- Ensure effective and efficient use of the company CRM systems
- Identify, develop, and report on new business opportunities in target markets
- Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve company objectives
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders
- Ensure the delivery of class-leading customer support across the UK & Ireland
- Support the conversion of legacy laser platforms to the latest IPG Photonics solutions
- Collaborate closely with management teams in the UK and worldwide
Your profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B component sales
- Proven experience in managing and leading a sales team
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes across multiple industries
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Confident presenter capable of representing a large multinational organisation
- Self-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel requirements
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally (e.g. Germany, USA)
