Investment Manager – EMEA – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

IPG Mediabrands is looking for an experienced Investment Manager to manage client partnerships in the EMEA region and support global clients housed in London.

With $41 billion in media billings worldwide, Mediabrands Investment is a multi‑platform strategic media investment unit responsible for forecasts, insights, negotiation strategy, and value creation across all media platforms.

Mediabrands Investment has four regional hubs across EMEA, LATAM, APAC and North America.

This role is to manage client partnerships in the EMEA region and for global clients housed in London.

The regional hub in London consists of 20 people who work closely with the local investment teams.

THE ROLE

The Investment Manager EMEA will report into the Head of Client Solutions and Partnerships, EMEA based in London.

The role focuses on curating, managing and tracking best‑in‑class partnerships for key clients such as Kenvue, Amazon, Honda, Bayer, Dyson, Nike and Levis, and supporting Trading activities.

Key responsibilities include

  • Build long‑term partnership strategies for key regional and global clients
  • Drive and measure optimal value for clients through negotiation tactics
  • Identify new ways of extracting value from media owners for clients
  • Assist clients in executing direct deals with global/regional partners
  • Surface innovative partnership opportunities aligned with campaign objectives
  • Evaluate and optimize client investment strategies with media owners
  • Ensure brand hygiene guidelines are implemented and respond to violations
  • Build multimedia partnerships when strategically relevant for KPIs
  • Quantify incremental value delivered to clients via partnership reconciliation
  • Support client‑direct global JBP discussions, where applicable
  • Provide best‑practice guidance on partnership implementation and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with the MB Investment team EMEA to share trackers, partnerships and JBP agreements on the investment portal
  • Participate in a global network of client‑solution investment experts, sharing governance guidelines
