Role Description
This is a 6 month FTC. The role will support the team in the financial management of Mediabrands Limited and Mediabrands EMEA, reporting into the Financial Controller. The job will require you to work closely with the other Finance Assistants and Junior Management Accountants, ensuring the smooth running of the agencies finances. The Finance team consists of 70 permanent staff headed up by the EMEA CFO. The department adds value to the agencies within Mediabrands by providing operational support and best practice. The Finance Assistant shall contribute towards the everyday financial administration of the Mediabrands Limited and Mediabrands EMEA in a fast paced, dynamic environment from the initial coding of costs through to post reporting analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- General ledger coding of invoices and reviewing POs in SAP for all office costs incurred
- Assisting with the month-end close process by creating and posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Running and Analysing Timesheet details upon request
- Completing the detailed P&L analysis
- Arranging intercompany recharges
- Affiliate Fee billing and credit control
- Completing schedules in Hyperion at Month End
- Reviewing personal and company credit card expenses
- Entering financial forecasts and completing schedules in the reporting tool
- Assisting in responding to frequent queries from senior management, controllers, non-finance employees and auditors
