Department Overview
Initiative is building the most streamlined and integrated Partnerships AV teams in the industry. We do not operate in silos. As such, our best and brightest Partnerships leaders from both Traditional and Digital backgrounds are charged with leading the Partnerships teams and delivering on the following:
- TV, BVOD, Radio and Cinema marketplace landscape experts internally and with clients
- All media partner evaluation, selection and recommendations leveraging strategic / consumer insights, marketplace insights, and Initiative’s proprietary partner selection data and toolsets
- Strategic, digital partnership solutions, negotiation/go‐to-market strategies, and audience—focused strategies, designed to deliver on client objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Innovation and emerging partner test opportunities to drive client KPIs
- Support MAGNA aggregate negotiations across all digital media channels
- Support and facilitate IPG Mediabrands corporate, agency and external media initiatives
Role Description
The Associate in Partnerships is an entry level position within Initiative requiring an eager, proactive and energetic person who is interested in beginning a career in media. The Associate is an important position within the integrated investment process and supports the team as they build a go to market approach for multiple media types including TV, BVOD, Radio & Cinema.
Key Responsibilities
Client
- Maintain client’s schedules in accordance with their goals
- Respond to client requests proactively
Internal
- Proactively seek out mentorship and learning from other Discipline leaders at Initiative (Strategy, Analytics, Communications Design, Client Advice)
- Attend company events and department wide meetings
- Learn key programs and tools
- Distribute, collect and organise RFPs (Requests For Proposal)
- Assist in reporting and tracking budgets, savings and value, ensuring accuracy for internal team
- Assist in evaluating partner proposals
- Responsible for smooth running of day-to-day activities
- Stewardship
- Enter buys onto Prisma and ensure system reflects accurate buys
- Update buy summary documents
- Monitor network buys daily based on audience delivery data to ensure delivery in flight
- Assist with traffic issues
- Integral in campaign set up and execution including order letters, specs, creative rotation and billing documentation
- Be responsible for billing discrepancies and produce resolutions
- Assist in actualisations with partners and final billing numbers
- Participate in analysis and post campaign summary of integrated programs
- Coordination and scheduling of partner and team meetings
- Compilation and distribution of conference reports from status meetings
- Participate in departmental projects as requested
Commercial
- Timely resolution of billing discrepancies
