Job Description:

Fuel, IPG Health Medical Communications

Do you love science and have a passion for clear, quality communication? Do you thrive in a fast-paced team-spirited environment? As an Associate, you’ll use these skills to make a difference to the healthcare community and enhance the success of our clients.

What is Fuel?

Fuel (Future Experts and Leaders) is our well-established, entry-level training and development programme for talented people at the beginning of their journey in Medical Communications. The Fuel programme combines dedicated training and on-the-job development within an innovative, nurturing and open-minded community. You will join alongside a group of like-minded individuals, all in the same phase of your careers, building your network, and embedding our supportive culture.

Why choose Fuel?

We believe everyone can become an expert, a leader in their field – our promise is to provide you with the skills, confidence and experience you need to fulfil that potential. Our dedicated trainers work alongside our talented, client-facing teams to harness and develop your talents.

What roles are available through Fuel?

Each of the four roles available through Fuel is unique:

·Associate Medical Writers: develop high-quality medical communication materials, including publications, meeting resources and digital materials.

·Associate Account Executives: support their teams with project delivery, financial management and help to maintain and build strong client relationships.

·Associate Medical Editors: ensure that all company documents and products are delivered to the highest possible quality in terms of clarity, accuracy, style and consistency to meet client needs.

·Associate Regulatory Writers: provide high‐quality, concise and accurate documentation that will be accepted by clients and regulatory authorities to drive the approval process.

We encourage you to review the roles and pick the one you believe is right for you, but we are happy to discuss the opportunities in more detail if you need help deciding.

What qualifications do I need?

For our writing positions, we look for candidates with a science degree. Our editors need an eye for detail and a solid grasp of the English language. And, our Account Executives must be organised and able to work well with numbers. We do not require previous experience in the industry, as we provide all the necessary training. We have successfully recruited and developed people from a range of backgrounds, so if you’re looking for a change, we want to hear from you!
