iPeople SC Solutions is recruiting a Senior Carer to work for our client based in Walthamstow, Greater London. The successful candidate must have management experience as a shift/team leader with CQC knowledge, working in a residential care home for older people with dementia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of care assistants.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate.
- Complete patient medication records.
- Develop and lead activities for service users.
- Keep families informed about their relative’s progress.
- Train and mentor new staff.
Requirements:
- Smart, reliable, with good communication skills.
- Confident individual.
- Experience as a shift lead or running a service and administering medication.
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Recent training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Medication, Dementia, etc.
- COVID-19 vaccinated.
Hours: 36 hours per week
