iPeople SC Solutions is working on behalf of our client, a local authority in Southwest London, to recruit an experienced Social Worker to work within schools.
Locum
Hourly rate: £38.50
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: 36 hours / Full-time
Duties
- To support in signposting to and partnering with other agencies to enhance the preventative offer within each school setting.
- To champion the Early Help and Effective Support Strategy at Secondary School Level.
- Support and guide schools in using the ‘Getting Help’ guidance within the Effective Support Model to provide Early Help to children and families.
- To undertake Child and Family assessments, where a core presenting need is linked to education.
Requirements
- Degree within Social Work/SWE registered.
- Skilled in using the relationship-based practice model and explaining it to others.
- Can operate autonomously within a school setting and as part of a multi-disciplinary network.
