iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting for a Family Assessment and Support Social Worker to work for our client based in Penzance, Cornwall. We require an experienced Social Worker to join the Family Assessment & Support Team in Penzance, West Cornwall.
Cornwall Council’s Children and Family Services deliver effective front-line services that safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Our Social Workers are innovative, positive and dedicated to making a real difference. Team Managers ensure regular reflective supervision, and our training package is second to none. Cornwall is a beautiful part of the country whereby you can enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
The successful candidate will be an experienced social worker with proven experience of working within a frontline statutory children and family team, undertaking social work assessments and completing work with children subject to Child in Need plans, children subject to Child Protection plans and legal proceedings, and children in care. Must hold a recognised social work qualification.
A successful candidate will be one whose commitment and value base drives practice and good outcomes for our children and young people. The worker will be required to have their own transport and travel across Cornwall.
