iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting for a Fostering Social Worker to work for our client based in Macclesfield, Cheshire East. There are 2 positions available in the support and supervision team of the fostering service.
The role involves providing regular supervision of approved foster carers in line with regulatory requirements. The Social Worker will also be required to co-ordinate annual reviews of the foster carers' practice and performance, developing learning and development plans and presenting reports to the fostering panel. The Social Worker should have a good understanding of the national minimum standards for fostering services.
You will also need to participate in the duty rota and be proactive in identifying matches between foster carers and children requiring placements. The role will require family finding for children who require long-term foster placements.
