iPeople SC Solutions is recruiting a Tenancy Management and Resettlement Officer to work for our client in Lewisham and surrounding areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete property inspections and occupancy checks
- Attend Bailiff evictions and possession proceedings
- Undertake Housing Management such as dealing with tenancy issues, ASB and housing enquiries
- Undertake tasks relevant to move on for TA applicants
- Undertake admin duties such as email duties and responding to TA Portal enquiries
- Complete MP, ME, and Complaint responses
- Issuing the discharge of duties and liaising with Legal to issue NTQs
- Undertake phone duties to ensure 80% calls answered
- Complete Risk and affordability assessment
- Issue Intentionally Homeless decisions and complete all relevant tasks
- Shortlist applicants for PRS and liaise with the Procurement Team to reduce pressure on TA stock
Working Hours: 35 hours a week, Monday – Friday
Requirements
- Willingness to undertake home visits which are effective and take into account health and safety requirements.
- Experience of working with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, in housing need and/or living in unsatisfactory housing.
- Experience of working effectively with private sector landlords and/or within a homelessness context.
- Undertake visits, inspections and meetings both inside and outside of the borough.
