Are you an individual who is compassionate and driven to make a difference in the lives of Children and Young People especially those with highly challenging behaviour and mental health issues? Our client is looking for experienced children residential support workers who can work either the day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the young people with their daily routine
- Attending regular liaison meetings with appropriate partners/interested parties
- Ensuring that all provision meets relevant and appropriate health and safety requirements
- Having due regard to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people and to follow the child protection procedures
- Providing high quality care in a safe, stimulating environment
- Working flexibly and to undertake shift work including early shifts, late shifts, and weekends

- Previous experience in a special needs environment/school would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
