The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Housing Options and Homeless Prevention Officers to work for our client based in Hillingdon and surrounding areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completing assessments and carrying out respective prevention and relief work.
- Managing a varied caseload.
- Knowledge of Part VII Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act and other relevant legislation.
- Carrying out homelessness enquiries, casework and drafting s184 decision letters.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate they have practical experience of delivering in a pressurised Housing Options Service and managing the multiple demands and pressures of the service.
Requirement:
- Strong knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act.
- Previous experience in a similar role within local authority.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.00pm – Hybrid working welcomed once office-based induction period is completed.
Only candidates with previous experience within local authorities and knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act will be considered.
