Hourly rate: Up to £17.80
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: 36 hours / Full-time
Hybrid working available!
DUTIES
- To work sensitively with children with moderate to severe learning disabilities and complex health needs, to develop their social and communication skills, and to promote friendships, independence, and self-esteem.
- To conduct assessments and support the planning of appropriate interventions and outcomes.
- To consult meaningfully with children, young people, and their parents/carers to ensure that services are appropriate, tailored to individual need, reliable, and sensitive.
- Ensure that the needs of children and young people are met through the delivery of planned interventions.
- To act as Lead Professional where appropriate.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Experience of multi-agency working with statutory or voluntary agencies in order to provide a wide range of different leisure opportunities.
