iPeople SC Solutions is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work for our client in Bexley and surrounding areas. We seek to appoint an inspirational, motivated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with an intervention focus to join our successful team. The successful post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality outcomes for learners, residents, and employers while contributing to the strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the main class teacher with all lessons/playtime.
- Help create and organise activities.
- Write records for students' behaviour when needed.
- Work 1:1 with students or small groups if and when needed.
- Pay attention to any safeguarding concerns.
- Assist in creating materials for curriculum delivery and display boards.
Requirements
- Highly motivated.
- Experience of working with children and young people with ASD, SLD and PMLD.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS that is on the update service.
