Overview of role and responsibilities:
- The role encompasses strategic placemaking, engaging with stakeholders to develop a shared vision and leading and managing complex partnerships to deliver council and community objectives.
- Working closely with other council services, developers, local businesses and community groups to steer projects from conception through to delivery.
- Need a strong sense of personal ownership and initiative, excellent project management, programme management and stakeholder engagement skills, and an ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
