iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting for an Adults Social Worker within Housing for our client based in Enfield and surrounding areas. Enfield Council Housing have an exciting opening for an Experienced Level 3 Social Worker (Adults) to work within the Street Homeless Accommodation Service.
The service provides in-reach support to Housing First Tenants with a history of rough sleeping with high complex needs and circumstances living in a one bed or shared property within the borough of Enfield, as part of the Rough Sleeper Accommodation Protect (RSAP).
The social worker will be required to work as part of a support team, which includes support staff and welfare, debt and employment advisors. You will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of the Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act (2005) and Mental Health Act (1983). Knowledge and experience of working with Mental Health and Addiction would be essential in this post.
- Undertaking needs assessments in line with the Care Act 2014
- Providing intensive support with integration into society and crisis intervention where proportionate and appropriate
- Fostering a multi-agency approach to the support
- Supporting the sustainment of tenant and progression to suitable and longer-term accommodation, reducing returns to the street
The Enfield RSAP will offer accommodation to up to 20 Housing First Tenants.
