iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting for a Children’s Social Worker to work for our client based in Bournemouth, Dorset.

BCP Council – PLO and Court Team

Pay rate is £48 per hour
Minimum 3 days per week at the office

• Working with children and families from the point of strategy meetings and Section 47 enquiries through to Public Law Outline and the issuing of proceedings and subsequent Court work.
• Assessment of Child in Need and undertaking investigations of alleged child abuse under Child Protection procedures
• Producing initial Child Protection Conference reports and implementing following Child Protection Plans
• Applying for Emergency Protection Orders
• Providing S17 Support to Children in Need and their families
• Attending court and presenting reports
• Children Act 1989 with reference to sections 17 and 47
• Direct work with children and families
