OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Verify the conformity of component parts and assemblies.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Inspect parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable data package requirements, using a range of measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, and faro arms.
- Inspect component parts to verify applicable machine tool set up processes,
- Inspect component parts and assemblies in accordance with batch sampling requirements,
- Complete formal First Article inspection activities,
- Complete component and assembly testing in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP),
- Process / complete non-conformance related documentation (when applicable),
- Support inspection related tasks / activities at non Ipeco locations (when required),
- Complete / authorise formal release certification (when required),
- To adhere to Company policies and procedures,
- To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety procedures, and
- To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.
