OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Execute production plans for the responsible area.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To understand the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Production Plan.
- To ensure capacity requirements agreed between the Planning Team and Production Managers meet the Production Plan.
- Review material availability and discuss any missing parts with the Procurement Team.
- Ensure programming, tooling and fixtures are available to meet production demand.
- Release agreed work to the Machine Shop.
- Run the dispatch list for the Machine Shop (if required) or ensure Production Supervisors have run the dispatch list.
- Ensure priorities are clear on the dispatch list and ensure the order is followed.
- Review adherence to plan and support with recovery plans when target/output is not achieved.
- Ensure exception messages are actioned daily (if any).
- Chair meetings with Managers and Supervisors regarding requirements and performance and attend production meetings (if required).
- Attend Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, ensuring any anomalies referred to are accounted for in the plan.
- Attend Mod meetings, ensuring any changes referred to are accounted for in all plans and relevant stakeholders are informed.
- Support the Planning Team (if required).
- Maintain SAP data with regard to in-house manufacture and work center information.
- Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
- To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- To ensure all Company rules and regulations are met.
- To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required. This is not an exhaustive list.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

- Working knowledge of SAP software.
