OVERALL PURPOSE: To build / assemble product including sub-assemblies, minor mechanical assemblies, major mechanical assemblies and riveted structures.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To read engineering drawings and build / assemble product to quality requirements.
- Assemble sub and minor mechanical assemblies.
- Assemble major mechanical assemblies.
- Assemble major riveted structures.
- To carry out riveting of assemblies.
- To apply velcro and dress seats.
- To carry out duties in a proper and efficient manner, act wholeheartedly in the interest of the Company and comply with Company rules and regulations.
- Responsible for ensuring a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
- To support other team members with other tasks as and when necessary.
- To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- To carry out other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required. This is not an exhaustive list.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Assembly experience in a factory environment (or similar).
- Ability to use hand tools, including rivet pliers / gun.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
