The predicted salary is between 23625 - 28875 Β£ per year.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To program, set and manufacture small-batch aerospace components.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits.
- Responsible for manufacturing all components within the agreed timescales.
- Responsible for setting a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as and when required.
- Responsible for using a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture.
- Responsible for mentoring new staff as required.
- Responsible for maintaining the agreed quality rating at all times.
- Responsible for making sure that manufactured product is suitably protected for transit.
- Responsible for working in the order of the manufacturing plan at all times.
- Responsible for making sure that all manufacturing paperwork is filled out correctly.
- Responsible for carrying out all tasks allocated by the Supervisor in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times.
- To support team members with other tasks as and when required.
- To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety guidelines.
