Role Overview:

IPC is seeking a high-impact Sales Associate to drive new business growth across our Financial Markets SaaS portfolio. This is a hunter-first role focused on:

  • Building and converting high-quality pipeline
  • Winning new logos
  • Expanding IPC’s footprint through multi-product SaaS solution selling

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to create pipeline from the ground up, operate with urgency, and consistently exceed quota in competitive enterprise environments.

How You Will Make an Impact:

New Business & Pipeline Ownership (Primary Focus)

  • Own end-to-end pipeline creation and conversion, with a minimum expectation of 50–70% self-generated pipeline
  • Build and maintain 3–5x pipeline coverage against quota at all times
  • Prospect into Tier 1–3 financial institutions through direct outreach, referrals, networking, and ecosystem engagement
  • Drive new logo acquisition as a core performance metric
  • Identify and penetrate new buying centres and stakeholders across client organisations

Multi-Product SaaS Selling

  • Position and sell IPC’s full portfolio (Trading Communications, end user products, AI enabled trade workflow, Compliance, Data, Network Services)
  • Drive multi-product, platform-led deals rather than single-product sales
  • Develop and execute value-based sales strategies aligned to client business outcomes
  • Build compelling commercial and transformation cases for clients

Sales Execution & Deal Management

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to close
  • Drive deal velocity through effective qualification, multi-threading and stakeholder alignment
  • Lead complex negotiations and competitive sales processes
  • Orchestrate internal resources (pre-sales, product, customer success) to win deals

Territory & Market Development

  • Translate market opportunity into structured territory and pipeline generation plans
  • Actively establish IPC presence in target markets through events, networking and industry engagement
  • Track competitor positioning and market dynamics to inform sales strategy

Sales Discipline & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and activity tracking in Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality sales reporting
  • Operate with disciplined forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene – non-negotiable

Performance Expectations

  • Pipeline coverage: 3–5x quota
  • Self-generated pipeline: ≥50%
  • Strong contribution to new logo revenue
  • Consistent quota overachievement
  • High outbound activity and opportunity creation levels
  • Accurate and disciplined forecasting and CRM management

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:

  • 3+ years in a sales role within Financial Markets / SaaS / Technology focused on business development
  • Proven track record of new business acquisition and quota overachievement
  • Demonstrated experience building pipeline from zero or low base
  • Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS solutions
