About the Opportunity: We are building a next-generation global energy platform from the ground up — combining large-scale physical trading, LNG, refined products, derivatives, storage, shipping, and strategic infrastructure assets across Israel, the Middle East, and Europe. Backed by top-tier international strategic partners, the company is executing multi-billion-dollar commercial and infrastructure ventures designed to redefine regional energy flows, market access, and long-term supply resilience. As Head of Commercial, you will be one of the most senior commercial leaders in the organization — responsible for shaping and executing the company’s entire commercial architecture: trading strategy, market entry, portfolio construction, counterparties, customer relationships, pricing frameworks, and long-term growth. This role is designed for elite commercial operators from the world’s leading energy trading houses and majors — individuals who combine deep market intuition, P&L ownership, deal-making authority, and organizational leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the company’s global commercial strategy across: Crude oil, LNG, Light Ends, Middle Distillates, Heavy Ends, Derivatives.
- Design and scale multi-product trading portfolios with full commercial accountability.
- Define go-to-market strategy, pricing frameworks, counterparty selection, and long-term offtake structures.
- Partner closely with the CCO, CEO, trading leadership, and infrastructure teams to integrate physical assets, storage, shipping, and regulatory constraints into commercial optimization.
- Oversee commercial risk frameworks, capital allocation logic, and portfolio construction methodology.
- Lead high-value negotiations with producers, NOCs, majors, traders, financial institutions, and governments.
- Build and mentor a world-class commercial organization spanning traders, originators, analysts, and structuring specialists.
- Drive adoption of advanced data, analytics, and AI-based decision systems to enhance margins and risk-adjusted returns.
- Represent the company at executive level with strategic partners, investors, and regulators.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of senior commercial or trading leadership experience at top-tier global firms (e.g., Vitol, Trafigura, Glencore, Mercuria, Shell, BP, TotalEnergies, Aramco Trading).
- Proven track record managing large multi-asset portfolios and material P&L.
- Deep expertise in physical energy markets, logistics, shipping economics, storage optimization, and derivatives integration.
- Experience operating in complex regulatory and cross-border environments.
- Strategic thinker with strong people leadership and platform-building mindset.
- Comfortable in high-ownership, founding-stage environments with exceptional responsibility.
- Fluent English required; additional languages an advantage.
