We are seeking a Founding Chief Legal Officer – a globally minded legal executive with vision, integrity, and the firepower to build and lead a legal function from zero to scale. This is not just a job. This is a seat at the table.

Your Mission
- Architect and lead our global legal and compliance infrastructure.
- Structure complex international trade flows, JVs, terminals, and multi-jurisdictional operations.
- Advise the CEO and board on legal risk, corporate governance, regulatory shifts, and capital strategies.
- Engage with regulators, financial institutions, trading partners, and host governments across continents.
- Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team, from Day One.
Your Profile
- 15+ years of experience in legal leadership roles in global energy, commodities, or financial institutions.
- Track record in building legal teams, handling cross-border transactions, and navigating regulatory regimes across UK/EU, MENA, Asia or North America.
- Commercial acumen and executive presence at the highest level.
- UK-qualified or internationally licensed lawyer; fluency in English essential.
- Exceptional ethics, strategic insight, and calm under pressure.
Compensation & Structure
As the company is in pre-operational formation, there is no fixed salary at this stage. However, founding executives are fully aligned through long-term incentive structures, equity participation, and a shared commitment to value creation. This role is intended for professionals with the conviction and capacity to shape a venture at its genesis.
