Join to apply for the Respiratory Physiotherapist - Cystic fibrosis role at IPC Asia Pacific Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Cystic fibrosis team for 30 hours per week.
Do you have a special interest in Cystic fibrosis? Have you had experience of working with patients with chronic respiratory conditions and want to develop into a specialist field? This may be the position for you.
This is a great opportunity to join the Cystic fibrosis therapy team within a CQC rated outstanding NHS specialist Trust. We offer the opportunity to specialise in the physiotherapy management of Cystic fibrosis patients within the inpatient, outpatient, and community setting.
The role is ideally suited to an individual with a specialist interest in respiratory physiotherapy with previous or current experience of working with adults with chronic respiratory conditions. Well-developed physiotherapy skills, proven ability to work as part of a team, and experience of close working with the multi-disciplinary team is a necessity.
The role is 30 hours per week to be worked across four days. Core service hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. The successful candidate will be required to take part in the emergency respiratory late and on-call service providing out of hours (weekend and on-call) care to respiratory patients across the Trust.
The post holder will be expected to maintain up-to-date competencies and mandatory training. A driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use is also required, as part of the role may involve travel to patients' homes and community settings.
