Role Description

This is a temporary, on-site role for a Mandarin Speaking Tour Guide . The Tour Guide will travel with a student group across London, Cambridge, Oxford, and Manchester, over the course of 6 days (5 full days of touring plus 1 day for airport pick-up/drop-off). The program will take place  between July 1st and July 12th , with specific dates TBD.

Responsibilities include:

• Traveling with the student group across London, Cambridge, Oxford, and Manchester.
• Picking up students from the airport and accompanying them to and from their accommodation.
• Leading sightseeing activities and daily tours.
• Providing engaging introductions to the cultural and historical background of each location, including relevant stories.
• Conducting guided tours and delivering informative.
• Answering student questions and fostering an educational and enjoyable environment.
• Ensuring group coordination, safety, and a memorable experience for students 13–17.

Qualifications

• Experience as a tour guide or in the tourism industry is required.
• Experience working with student groups is a strong plus.
• Solid knowledge of UK history and cultural landmarks.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage group logistics.
• Comfortable working independently while ensuring group cohesion.
• Flexible schedule, including availability between  July 1st–12th , and on holidays or weekends.
