LOCATION: FULL-TIME HYBRID WITH 3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OUR EDINBURGH OFFICE

Guy & Co is growing, and we’re on the lookout for a creative Motion Graphics Designer with around 4 years’ experience in an agency role, or similar. We’re all about giving our clients an Unfair Advantage. Our innovative agency system creates and validates meaningful and unique marketing ideas, giving our clients confidence we’ll get the commercial results that make their boards (and us) happy. But the real magic? Our Guys. We hire diverse minds, invite challenge, have each other’s backs, and invest in helping everyone smash their potential.

This is where you come in. We need a ‘video person’, to produce engaging animated content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, social media and film productions. If you share our passion for giving brands an Unfair Advantage, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Bring

  • Passion: A genuine love for film and the craft of animation, a vision, an opinion and a hunger for new tricks and trends, excitement and curiosity when bringing our brands to life, a healthy interest in new technologies in the industry, someone who waves their hands and makes sound effects while describing a storyboard.
  • Animation Skills: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Photoshop, solid understanding of animation principles, typography and composition, experience with storyboarding and concept development, confidence communicating with clients & colleagues.
  • Commercial Curiosity & Ambition: An interest in how marketing actually drives business results, a desire to grow – your skills, your confidence and your impact, comfortable asking questions, challenging thinking and learning fast.
  • Organisation & Delivery: Strong attention to detail and follow-through, strong time management and organisational skills, a collaborative approach – for us, there’s no I’s in Guys, a desire to do things properly – not just quickly.
  • Growth Mindset: An interest in expanding your skillset, a proactive, can-do attitude, ability to take constructive feedback and iterate quickly.

The Package

What you can expect from us: Salary up to £32k, depending on experience, holiday rewards: 28 days per year (in addition to 6 public holidays across Christmas and Easter), plus an extra day for every year with us, Vitality health insurance and perks (following 6 month probation), flexible working: a blend of office and remote working that works around you, great culture: agency bar, social space and a central Edinburgh HQ where dogs, friends and family are always welcome.
